Combined Paint spraying and drying System for Algeria

To the great delight of our customer in Algeria, our management did not miss the opportunity to stop off in Constantine during a business trip last week to attend the handover of a combined painting and drying booth. Over there, our customer produces large engins for container ships or large commercial vehicles and more, under licence for a company quoted on the exchange.

Thus, the demands on the equipment and functionality of the plant were correspondingly high: so does the customised ventilation technology enable full air-conditioning of the booth, for example. The supply air is fed through a heating and cooling unit, rotary heat exchangers and an air humidification unit. A paint storage room and the complete application technology were also part of the order. In addition, a crane system integrated in the booth makes it possible to lift the tonne-weight engins for the purpose of painting the entire workpiece.

Our sales engineer Norbert Küsters and our project manager and designing engineer Dirk Lanfer managed the project from Emsdetten together with our sales partner for the North Africa region, who is available at short notice to our customer on site.
