Blasting room with a difference

At the end of 2022, we realized a special project for the company Wittkamp Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH & Co. KG in Ostbevern (Germany): For the first time, specifically at the request of our customer we built a blastroom with white rubber wear protection lining. As exclusively glass beads are used as abrasive material, a light interior lining is possible in this case and offers the worker optimal visibility.
In addition, the system includes a passage sluice in front of the blastroom, which can be separated by two electrically operated roll-up doors, to minimize dust escaping into the surroundings.
Managing Director Martin Wittkamp gave an overall positive assessment of the blastroom, which was tailor-made for his company, as well as of the whole project phase during the visit of Kevin Felchner (Sales Department) and Felix Fransbach (After Sales Service) last week.
