With our corrosion protection center in Mühlau near Chemnitz, we have been familiar with the highly flexible requirements faced by surface refiners, contract blasting and coating companies in daily practice for over 30 years.

Our wash cabins, blasting rooms, combined paint spraying and drying booths or open-space paint spraying systems with telescopic dryers are the optimal solutions for surface treatment of various workpieces. LM Surface Technology is a surface refinisher that primarily processes components for aerial work platforms and construction machinery.

We designed a surface center for our customer, which includes a high-pressure cleaning cabin with a closed-loop process water system, a blasting room and two identical combined paint spraying and drying booths. Additionally, there is a spacious paint supply room between the paint spraying and drying booths.

The work areas are connected via a manual overhead conveyor system with two powered transfer bridges — one of which is also equipped with lifting and lowering devices — and generous buffer zones.

Custom Coating Solutions

Our customer specializes in modern contract coating, focusing on sheet metal and surface processing.

We built a powder coating line with a chamber pretreatment system, a water-based adhesion dryer, two powder booths and a powder curing oven. The well-thought-out conveyor technology, featuring electrically driven transfer bridges, completes the line. The operation is particularly sustainable, for example, through frequency-controlled pumps and a closed-loop process water system.

Small and medium Batch Sizes

For an internationally active surface refinisher, we developed a combined system for processing various steel structures.

The custom-designed system includes a blasting room, a large powder coating booth and a spacious powder curing oven. The continuous manual overhead conveyor with longitudinal and transverse guides ensures smooth handling of the workpieces.

We realized a surface painting system with a movable telescopic dryer. The blasting room features a ceiling hatch and is designed for two parallel circulating blast media. The open-space paint spraying system is energy-efficiently ventilated using innovative long-range nozzle technology.
