WiCHMANN GmbH, Lotte
WiCHMANN GmbH is one of the leading manufacturers of driveshafts used in construction equipment, steel and paper industry machinery, and passenger vehicles.
For the cleaning and coating of components in a wide range of sizes, we designed a complete surface treatment center. The system includes pretreatment, blow-off station, paint spraying booth, flash-off zone and paint dryer. All processes are linked by a power-and-free conveyor system, ensuring nearly fully automated part transport.
The drying process, which must occur within cycle time but at low heat, is handled in a custom-developed blow-off station featuring oscillating air nozzles.
Container Crane components up to 30t
For the market leader in heavy lifting technology, we built a 45 × 12 × 9 m (l × w × h) blasting room for processing XXL components used in container cranes.
A roll-up gate allows the cabin to be divided for blasting smaller parts. Two wall-mounted scissors-type lifting platforms extend to the center of the cabin. Back in 2006, we had already installed a paint spraying and drying booth with similar dimensions.
Paint Spraying of Cobots
Our customer produces cutting-edge collaborative robots.
The coating process for primer and top coat runs in two passes, with the workpieces moving through paint spraying, flash-off, drying and cooling zones. While painting is currently done manually, the system is already prepared for future robotic application.

Our customer is a leading contract manufacturer for large machine tools in small batches.
We built a surface treatment center featuring a blasting room, two combined paint spraying and drying booths with heat recovery and energy-saving mode and a high-pressure cleaning room including a process water treatment unit. A manual overhead rail with transfer bridges ensures smooth part handling.
