Refrigerating dryers (Drying with dehumidified air)

Product description

The refrigerating drying procedure is used for the drying of water-based paints in order to achieve a quick and gentle hardening of the paint. During the air-circulating process extremely dehumidified air extracts water from the paint surface. This process is performed at temperatures of < 30°C so that the paint surface remains "open" and the water can escape gently.

Advantages:

Short drying times of water-soluble paints especially in case of high layer thicknesses
Compared to conventional procedures the drying times can be reduced to approx. 90 %
Low energy consumption
Small dryer size due to shorter drying times
Conventional circulating air dryers can be modernised by this technique
